The New Jersey Association for Justice is the first, and sometimes the only, line of defense in Trenton, protecting the rights of consumers and families when they turn to the civil justice system in their time of need.

NJAJ works to ensure that the civil justice system protects consumers and people injured by the negligence of others and strives for justice for all. When powerful interests attempt to limit access to the courts, NJAJ is an influential and consistent voice advocating and fighting for the fundamental right of consumers and families to access the courts and seek accountability.

Our government relations team monitors hundreds of bills and communicates NJAJ positions on many issues to elected officials and policy makers in all parts of state government. NJAJ advocates on issues such as auto insurance, medical negligence, consumer rights, family law, workers' compensation, and other issues that affect consumers and families.
